    Voting Locations

    It all begins with a plan. Check out voting locations in D6 so you, your friends and family can all make a plan to vote.

    Early voting starts November 21, 2023, to December 9, 2023. There is a break in voting November 23rd through November 26th so we can enjoy our families as we stop to express our gratitude on Thanksgiving.

    Most locations are open Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

    Voting Rights

    In 2022 the NM Legislature passed House Bill 4 and it was signed into law on March 30, 2023.

    Here are some of the changes included in the Voting Rights Bill:

    • Automatically registers voters at the MVD

    • Restores the right of previously incarcerated individuals to vote upon their release;

    • Creates a permanent absentee voter list;

    • Mandates same-day voter registration at all polling places;

    Register to Vote

    I can’t stress the importance of voting enough. In District 6 we have over 33,000 registered voters and only about 9,000 people voted during the last D6 City Council race. We’d love to see more of us voting.
